Chris Lofing Co-Founder of Tremendum Pictures/Writer/Director/Editor/VFX Artist

Born in Beatrice, Nebraska, Chris Lofing had aspirations of becoming a filmmaker since he was 13. Chris moved to Los Angeles immediately after graduating high school to attend The New York Film Academy. In film school Chris wrote and directed a short film called CROSS, which received critical acclaim at its premiere on the Warner Bros. back lot. After film school, Chris moved to Fresno where he met his creative collaborator, Travis Cluff. Chris brought his directing and technical abilities and Travis had a unique marketing and business background that made them the perfect team. Their combined creativity and guerilla filmmaking style led them to the creation of Tremendum Pictures in 2011. They started by working out of their apartment where they spent every waking hour creating content. This includes film, Television, commercials and digital media. The pair independently co-wrote, co-directed and co-produced the micro-budget horror film, THE GALLOWS, which cost only $100,000. It was acquired by New Line/Warner Bros. which marked New Line’s first acquisition in 8 years. THE GALLOWS is their debut film that was also produced by Entertainment 360 and Jason Blum. THE GALLOWS will be released worldwide on July 10th through Warner Bros and will be shown on over 2,500 screens domestically. Chris is represented by Management 360, CAA and Ziffren Brittenham.

Travis Cluff Co-Founder of Tremendum Pictures/Writer/Producer/Director/Actor/Stunt Man

After losing his job due to the recession and with a first kid on the way, Travis had the unfortunate luck of also falling victim to a ponzi scheme. He was in debt and desperate for money to support his new family. Travis came across an article in 2008 about ABC’s obstacle course game show WIPEOUT. He saw that you can make over $50,000 if you win. Not only did Travis make it onto the show but he also won. This accomplishment helped him get back on track and also opened his eyes to the entertainment business and the idea that anything is possible. After meeting New York Film Academy student, Chris Lofing, the two developed a friendship and started their own production company, Tremendum Pictures, in 2011. Travis is represented by Management 360, CAA and Ziffren Brittenham.
